Default appearance of new account holder

Yesterday I went in to user accounts to delete the only other account on my computer and found a third one there which I had not put on. It was password protected and began with something like AST.Net Is this a problem. I have previously hired a couple of individuals to fix my computer as I picked up some viruses from the Internet. Is it possible that they installed something without telling me. I attempted to delete it from my computer but dont know if I was successful. Many thanks.

    Hello,

The ASP.NET Account is created when the Microsoft .Net Framework 1.1 is installed onto a Windows XP computer.

The user is created to run the asp.net Microsoft's Internet Information Services, which allows ASP.net to run on your local web server (This is pretty much its only use)

There is no need to worry about this ; it was not created in malicious way.

    Thanks
