    Default System Restore

My system is creating restore points but when I try to roll back to one of them I get an erroe message saying it wasunable to do so and no changes have been made to the system.

If I select a restore point I get the message saying restoring files, my computer shuts down, re-boots and then tells me it was`unable to restore to the date selected and suggests I pick another date.

It doesn't matter which restore point I pick, they all come back with the same error message.

Does anybody know what's going on?

    Are there any solutions?

    Thanks

    Default Re: System Restore

this can happen if you have made a major change to your system i.e installed a new anti virus or it has just made a major update try turning system retore off and back on again but remember you will lose all restore points uptil then in case you don't know how to turn it off go to control panel ,system, system restore check box that says turn restore points off on all drives reboot your system then turn them back on again (reverse of above)
