Thread: system restore

I had occasion to use my Re-Load CD.Everything came back on and all programs
are working well Except system restore. when I try to use system restore it tells me that it cannot restore to that date,even when I have tried other restore dates.
Is it possible someone can help please.
I have tried one procedure but when I reach the point of install PC told me to
insert Windows XP CD, which I do not have. I am running windows XP

Have you tried turning system restore off, rebooting then turning system restore back on and seeing if that helps? This procedure will clear all your restore points though!

The above can be done in start>settings>control panel>system>system restore
