Thread: help&support centre&system restore

when I open help&support it takes ages, when I click my computer info I get a message which says undefined, if I try to system restore the main page shows but when I click next it freezes, please help

Sound like you have picked up a virus. Do a virus scan in safe mode ( reboot the computer and keep pressing the F8 key)

Providing you have a valid copy of XP you can run a full system scan at the MS site

select the full servics scan .. it can take a couple of hours to copmplete.

I let it run overnight ... then just follow the instructions to cure the problems.
