    Lightbulb Fragmanted backup files

    Hi
I am using Acronis True Image 9 to backup my computer and save the backup files (*.tib) in a partition which is reserved only for these files and contains no other data. These files consist of the first full backup of three other partitions and the subsequent incremental backups of the same partitions. However, when the partition is checked, it shows 96% fragmentation which is very odd. This figure even appeared when I made the first full backup. Is this due to the nature of the compressed backup files that ATI has created? Should I defrag the partition? Mind you, the backup files are more than 11 GB. Thanks for any advice.

That 96% sounds very high, i check ATI knowledge base but there isnt any info on that, i guess you should defrag it and see what happens
