Thread: windows script host

hi .can any one help.
when trying to reinstall my printer i keep getting the following error mes.
windows script host can not find file
code 80070002
line10 char1.have tried reinstalling drivers from disk and allso lexmark
with same result any sugestions woul be great thanks

Try this; follow the usual instructions for uninstalling the printer's drivers. Reboot.
Download regscrubvistaxp registry cleaner program from; http://www.majorgeeks.com/download5946.html . Be aware,though, that it's a powerful tool for the registry. If you just click on the 'scan for problems' tab and let it run until you see 'done' in lower left, then click on 'select all' tab and select ' clean' tab. You should note that there is a backup icon on it's toolbar so that if you find any problems then click on it and you restore the registry.Backup is automatic.
Reboot again and follow the installation instructions and see if your printer now works.
I've used this program in XP and Vista and recommend it. Just be careful if you want to play around with it.
