Default Transferring Files From PC To Laptop

Hi all, I'm new to the site and need a bit of help.
I've just reformatted a laptop for a friend and installed
windows, everything fine there. Now I need to transfer
a load of files from my PC to the laptop wirelessly.
I don't have a usb stick or external HDD or anything
like that so it has to be wireless.

I can browse the net wirelessly from just fine, in fact
I'm posting this from the laptop now. I just need to know
how to setup a wireless network to transfer files.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.

Are you able to burn them all to a cd or dvd? that would be a lot easier

In theory yes, but I have more than 100GB to transfer so I'd
prefer to do it a different way rather than waste so many dvd's.

Well, i'm doing networking at college, so i know how to set up a wireless folder which you can just drag and drop files into and they will appear through both computers. Its very cool.
If i explain it will take some time, so heres the way from the microsoft website.
