    Unhappy blue screen of death

I have been getting this error message for some time now.
IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL , the stop message that follows is not always the same. It came happen on boot or after using the computer for hours. There seems to be no pattern. I have look at microsoft.com and have found many people have this same issue. But I am not finding any help. Iread the last posting here for this blue screen error and followed the insturctions and still no help. Can this all mean my mother board is dying? It there a way to tell what motherboard I have? Here is the lastest stop error message: 0x0000000a(0x00000000,0x00000002, 0x00000001,0x804DC11D)
I thank anyone for any help I can get.

The problem is that many different things can cause you to get this error. A bit hit or miss Im afraid, but here is a small selection of things you might want to try.

    (a)
    http://www.tweaksforgeeks.com/IRQL_N..._OR_EQUAL.html

    (b)
    1. Go to Start>Run> type MSCONFIG.
    2. When the box appears, click on the STARTUP tab.
    3. Select DISABLE ALL, then hit APPLY then hit OKAY.
    4. Reboot and get rid the MSCONFIG splash screen when it appears upon reboot.
    5. If you are prompted to reboot again, do so.

You will no longer be bothered by the IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL blue screen. The processes that you DO need were automatically re-enabled when you did the reboot. You should be in good shape now.

    (c)
To work around this issue, follow these steps:
Click Start, click Control Panel, and then double-click Display.
On the Settings tab, click Advanced, and then click the Troubleshoot tab.
Move the Hardware Acceleration slider to None, and then clear the Enable Write Combining check box.
Click OK, and then click OK.

Note This procedure prevents the display driver from programming the hardware incorrectly, but you may lose some display functionality and performance. Although you can increase the hardware acceleration settings higher than None to regain functionality and performance, these settings increase the chance that the issue will occur again. For maximum stability, leave hardware acceleration off.

    Good Luck
