    Default XP British English Dictionary

A friend of mine is on XP Pro and wants to use a windows British English dictionary; he is currently on American English, which is, of course, all wrong.

I seem to recall there being a "switch" in XP to change to English (UK) - anyone know the path?

I am assuming that you want the computer to write in English as opposed to an English Dictionary ... where you look up the meaning of words.

If so ... open the Control Panel

click on Regional and language options .. select "English (United Kingdom)" from the dropdown menu.
