Thread: No idea what ive done

right where to start,
just got a new pc with no operating system, so i got xp pro to put on it.
turned it on an went through bios, started the windows setup/format drive then bang..had a powercut
5mins later with power now on i start computer again but now get...error loading op system??
so i played in bios an got it into the windows startup again....when in there it asked do i want to install again or repair an install so i picked install again, then it tells me it cant find a hard drive??? so i played in bios again an now cant even get into setup or boot menu
Any help or have i now destroyed my pc before ive started??

I would go into the bios and "load bios defaults" , save and exit, reboot the pc and see if it sees your hdd in the bios. If it dosent then the powercut could of damaged it
