    Unhappy cant uninstall firefox

I accidently started uninstalling all the programmes on computer. I panic'd and turned off the computer on the switch before it had finished. Now there is something wrong with winows xp as I cannot run or uninstall firefox in order to re-install. It seems that I have corrupted windows. How can I get around this without doing a complete reinstall?

Everything else seems to work ok.

    Default Re: cant uninstall firefox

Try the start tab> search> all flies and folders > more advanced options > tick 'search system folders' >'search hidden files and folders' and 'search sub folders': and then enter Firefox in the search box..
Wait for the search and delete all found from bottom of list up.
Be aware that any corresponding emails etc., with Firefox name will be deleted so bear in mind if you have any documents to be saved beforehand. Reboot computer (important} then reinstall that awful browser if you have to.
IE7, IE8 beta and Opera leave Firefox behind security wise, as FF is now too popular, in my humble opinion.
    Good luck.
This is an edit to the post; an alternative is to download Revo uninstaller; http://www.revouninstaller.com/ ' use the advanced option only if you have the Firefox icon available to you through this program'
Read instructions carefully and only delete the BOLD text as this will delete registry entries.
Again re-boot and reinstall FF if you have to.
