Thread: missing camera driver?

I have a Kodak Z740 digital camera, that I have used with this computer in the recent past, but now I cannot transfer pics to the computer. When I try, I get the USB icon in the tool tray, and I get an unknown device from there. To my kknowledge, nothing was deleted off the computer. I have tried searching the Kodak and Microsoft sites, but was unsuccessful. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks, but all I see there is a D/L for DriverScanner 2009.

Thanks all, none seem to work for this camera. I was told I might have a bad USB cable, does that sound right? If it was bad, would it read anything at all?

I have never heard of a 'bad' USB cable before.

If you have the CD that came with the camera try using that to re-install the hardware.
