Thread: manage add ons?

Have desktop advent t9306 on X.P.Problems displaying pictures on some sites.e.g gumtree etc.Internet auction sites seem to be o.k.Also 1 account user is currently launching internet browser "without add ons"How do we sort this?Same user cannot change screensaver.Any ideas greatly appeciated.Am currently using virginmedia pcguard anti spyware,virus control etc.Norton anti virus had to be uninstalled as it interrupted with pc guard.

Oh i forgot to add.Any pics that dont display are coming up as a red box.This site included!!

Could be one of many problems showing the red boxes. Try some of the fixes on this website.

Just a thought - have you installed Internet Explorer version 8? Because many web pages are not yet written to display properly in version 8 and so you need to click on the "compatibility view" button to have them display correctly.
