Default computer disconnects from the internet every 45-50min

My computer has been disconnecting from the internet and disconnects after 45-50min. I finally got fed up with it and decided to seek help. I have no idea why it's doing what it's doing outside of a whole bunch of free driver scanners have told me I have a bunch of stuff I need to update such as NVIDIA networking controllers and NVIDIA network bus enumerator. I can provide any information you may need and will definitely appreciate any help I can get. Thanks

My internet is cable with a hardwired modem connection. There are 2 other computers on with mine and they work fine.

Some stuff about my computer that I could find is (this all comes from Belarc Advisor except the stuff on the bottom):

Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2 (build 2600)
    2.40 gigahertz AMD Athlon 64
Board: ASUSTeK Computer INC. A8N5X 1.XX
    Bus Clock: 200 megahertz
BIOS: Phoenix Technologies, LTD ASUS A8N5X ACPI BIOS Revision 0902 03/20/2006

    Controlers:
    NVIDIA nForce4 Parallel ATA Controller
NVIDIA nForce4 Serial ATA Controller (2x)

    Bus adapters:
    AUOQM7SB IDE Controller
Standard Enhanced PCI to USB Host Controller
    Standard OpenHCD USB Host Controller

    Display:
ATI Radeon X300/X550/X1050 Series [Display adapter]
ATI Radeon X300/X550/X1050 Series Secondary [Display adapter]
Sceptre Gamer [Monitor] (19.1"vis, March 2005)

    Multimedia:
    Envy24 Family Audio Controller WDM
    MPU-401 Compatible MIDI Device
    Standard Game Port

Some other stuff I found is this, dunno if it means anything:

ATI External Event Utility for Windows Version 6.14.10.4180
    ATI Smart Version 5.13.0027
ATI Technologies Inc. - Catalyst Control Centre Version 2.0.0.0
    NVIDIA Firewall. Version 2.2.0.488
    NVIDIA nSvcIp Version 2, 2, 0, 464
    NVIDIA nSvcLog Version 2, 2, 0, 464

PC Pitstop Driver Alert says I have:

ATI Radeon X300/X550/X1050 series version 8.432.0.0000
ATI Radeon X300/X550/X1050 series secondary version 8.432.0.0000
NVIDIA network bus enumerator version 4.8.2
Envy24 Family Audio Controller WDM version 5.12.01.3651
NVIDIA nForce Networking Controller version 4.8.2

My friend and I built this computer, though I don't know much about software, that was more his thing. Anyway, if you need anything else I'll be happy to try to find out.

    Go Start>Run, type in:
    cmd
    Click OK.

In Command Prompt window, type in following commands, and hit Enter after each one:
    ipconfig /flushdns
    ipconfig /registerdns
    ipconfig /release
    ipconfig /renew

    Restart computer.

    If that doesn't work...
    Go Start>Run, type in:
    cmd
    Click OK.

    At Command Prompt, type in:
    netsh int ip reset reset.log
    Hit Enter.
    Type in:
    netsh winsock reset catalog
    Hit Enter.

    Restart computer.

You might be as well download and run Winsockfix
