About LinkBacksMy HP Laptop on XP keeps reporting updates available for installation, but when I tell it to do it, it runs off then comes back and tells me none are installed, persistently. I have hidden them now but why updates if it won't put them in.

Superstar fabler to the rescue (again) - flashed it to my laptop. Ran it and gave me an error code of 2755.

Update:
Tried it on my pc and it worked, allegedly, but then pc would not read HDD on boot up, restoring now!
Rebooted Laptop after allegedly error message and update messages did not appear and achieved a normal switch off! Maybe error message is in error
