Thread: Security updates, help needed

Hi all

I wonder if someone could help me please.

I have automatic updates enabled on my computer and never had ay issues in the past but i seem to be having an issue with one particular security update from Microsoft.

For some reason the latest update will not installed, every time I try it fails, the update ID is
Security Update for Windows XP (KB979683)

Can anyone help me with this of advise on how to by pass the update with turning of my automatic updates.

This is a known problem with the M$ update ... to sort it go to this website and follow instruction (3)

Probably best to print the instructions out if you can, then follow them to the letter.
