yesterday i got a blue screen of death with these codes 0x000000D1 and 0xF88E8328 and something about USB. i also looked on my hardware device manager and i've got yellow exclamation mark against SCSI/RAID host controller, what is it, do i need it and is it connected to the blue screen of death?
thanks

A bit more detail is needed,

1. does this crash happen often and what are you doing when it happens?
2. what is the exact message you get on the blue screen?

the scsi controller is normally used for scsi harddrives, the yellow mark means the driver is not installed correctly for the scsi device and is not functioning properly.

thanks

hi

its only a problem if you use scsi hard drives in your pc, if your not sure you could download a free program called belarc (just google for it) and it will generate a report of your machine details and post it for me to look at.
