Unhappy Help needed please
Hi All,
Just found this Forum by chance while looking for an answer to a problem I have, I wonder if someone can give some advice.

When I reboot my computer, I get two pop ups saying

Error loading C:\windows\system32\ycfhhgfd.dll

and

Error loading C:\windows\system32\mwkguyov.dll

I've tried to find info on these but have hit a blank wall

My Navdesk 2008 software has stopped working saying it needs v2.0.50727, I re-installed that software, (says it includes Microsoft . NET 2.0 )

I wonder if these two problems are related?

My System is XP Pro with Service Pack 2

Would anyone be kind enough to help?
Many Thanks

Have you uninstalled any programs lately?

I cannot find any info on these either, could they be leftover from some program you got rid of.

I would get CCleaner .. and run their registery scan .. see if it throws up anything.

Hi Ferret,
Thanks for the reply.
I did have a virus last week (Vundo) and eventually removed it in Safe Mode using SUPERAntiSpyware and Ad-Aware 2007, I also ran Combofix at the same time just to make sure I got rid of it. Do you think this is where it belonged?

Earlier on tonight I ran SUPERAntiSpyware and it found Vundo again! (it said it had been removed)

Still when I reboot, two dialogue boxes with the heading RUNDLL appears showing the two messages I posted previously "The specified module could not be found"

NavDesk 2008 reports that there is an Initializationn Error and that I I must install the following versions of the .NET Framework v2.0.50727

Would a Hi-Jack this log help?

Many thanks for your help

Did you run the scans in "safe" mode?

If the nasty is in your system restore it will just reinstall itself.

Try a-squared ... it is free and runs a check in the system restore as well. Get it here:
http://www.emsisoft.com/en/software/free/

post the Hijack log .. we can alway have a look at it.

You hijack log is quite clean ... compared to some i have seen.

3 item show up .. none very serious. You can decide if you weant to repair them or not.

O16 - DPF: {7F8C8173-AD80-4807-AA75-5672F22B4582} (ICSScanner Class) - ....Check if you know this site and fix it if you do not. Unknown ActiveX-Objects, or ActiveX-Objects from unknown sites should always be fixed. If the name of the ActiveX-Object or the URL contains the words 'dialer', 'casino', 'free plugin' etc, it should be fixed!

Hi, I'm getting a similar startup error. RUNDLL but mine says

"Can't find svdtltol.dll"

I also had a virus that Avast! pretty successful murdered.

I have made a Hijackthis and I found some strange stuff which I fixed.

Now on reboot I have to see if it's gone.

That's a good thing with UNIX this kind of s*** don't happens.
