Angry laptop problems
hi guys

somethin^g seems to be wron^g with my keyboard<

i will try to explain^ best as i can

when^ i press back the "copy paste etc men^u comes up

when^ i click on^ somethin^g it highlights everythin^g

when^ i press en6ter n^umber lock switches on^

CAPS lock has reversed itself

an^d as i type it just puts symbols where it likes

every time i start up i get a msg sayin^g "system has recovered from serious error"


i have a sony vaio laptop on^ win^dows xp professional an^d will be goin^G to buy a n^ew laptop tomorrow if it can6t be fixed< sick of this stupid thin6g

i cannot do a system restore as it wont let me click on any date
any tips would be appreciated

Hi, make a complete virus scan. Then check if num lock is on, on my laptop it makes my "u i o p j k l ö m" letters become numbers...

Then test safe mode.

Also, if nothing works, try backing up all you're files that you need, onto an external hard drive or another computer, then reboot to factory settings, that should definatly fix the problem, if not, it would be something to do with the keyboard.
