Question Master Hard Disk:s.m.a.r.t.
Hi, I've got a problem with my hard disk.
Every time I startup now I get a message on the black screen befor it boots up saying,
PRI MASTER HARD DISK:S.M.A.R.T. STATUS BAD. BACKUP AND REPLACE.
PRESS F1 TO RESUME.
And then I can start my computer as normal and it runs as normal.
Can anyone tell me what this is and how to replace it PLEASE?
LEO.

Bad news I`m afraid. Your HARD Drive is going to fail. Maybe not this week or next, But it will fail soon.

You need to backup all your important Documents/files (say to CD-DVDs) and then replace your harddrive.
